The Big Four Bridge carries walkers and cyclists across the Ohio River between Louisville, Kentucky, and Jeffersonville, Indiana. Its massive steel framework, open river views, interpretive signs, and elevated views of the waterfront make the crossing feel part city overlook, part public park, and part living piece of transportation history.
This photo walk begins near the Louisville ramp, moves through the original steel trusses, looks out over the river and skyline, and continues toward the Jeffersonville riverfront.
